KUSU, Krishna (Ben) Opal

Entered into rest Saturday February 13th, 2021at his home in Caledonia at the age of 73. Son of the late Seudath and Moonia Kusu. Beloved husband of Deokie for 52 years. Loving father of Sherryann Huot (late Allen), Rajesh (Sheri), Clive (Emer), and Rodney (Brittany). Dear grandfather to Celine (Ben), Paul, Tiffany, AJ, Emily, Ciara and expecting grandchild in July 2021. Great-grandfather to Kasen. Krishna is also survived by his four sisters in Trinidad Cynthia, Baby, Rampyarie, Jenny and one sister in New York, USA Kaloutie. Predeceased by his brothers Ramnarace, and Doodnath. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews from Trinidad, Scotland , England, Canada and USA. Krishna grew up, married and had his four children in Trinidad, then moved to Calgary, Alberta Canada in June 1998, and moved to Caledonia, Ontario in August 2018 for his final years. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors from the Tom Baker Cancer Center Calgary, and the Jurvanski Cancer Centre Hamilton, as well as the nurses from C.B.I., the PSWs from St, Elizabeth’s, the L.H.I.N., and the nurses and doctors from Stedman palliative program. Visitation will take place at the Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia on Friday, February 19th, 2021 from 10am to 12pm followed by a closed service in the chapel and then a burial service at the Caledonia Cemetery with immediate family.

Restrictions on building occupancy will be in effect and guest contact tracing is required.
