The final page of the book of Keith’s life was quietly turned at Grace Villa on December 18, 2020. Keith was 93 years old. Beloved husband and best friend of Reta Mae, married for 71 years. Left to remember Keith are wife, Reta, sons, Ed and wife, Mary, Doug, and wife, Tanya, Daughter, Jean and husband, Tom, Joyce and husband, Darwin, and June. Keith with be missed by his 14 grandchildren, Chad, Nathan, Amanda, Greg, Dennis, Christine, Timothy, Wesley, Amy, Rick, Kevin, Julie, Jeff, Emily, and Luke. Fondly remembered by his 28 great grandchildren, Hayden, Caleb, Josh, Jaxson, Paisley, Rayan, Maylia, Porsha, Devlin, Dalton, Zachary, Kyler, Colson, Bryceton, Ellenisa, Isaah, Jayden, Timothy, Ja’siah, Jorden, Jenna, Ryan, Eric, Davin, Vanessa, Darren, Ethan, and Emma. Keith was the eldest son of Edwin Johnston and Laura Johnston and survived by his sister Ruth McBride. Keith worked at Union Gas for many years to support his family and accepted an early retirement where he tinkered in his shop for many years. A private visitation and service was held at Miller Funeral Chapel in Caledonia, ON. In lieu of flowers, desired donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society in Memory of Keith.
