Obituary of June Marie Thornton

THORNTON, June Marie
 It is with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother on December 11, 2020 at the age of 79.  She is gone to be with her beloved husband John Douglas Thornton.  Loving mother of John (Sherrie), Linda (Steve), Bob (Cathy).  Devoted Grandmother of Ashley (Paul), Tyler (Jenny), Chantel, who is in Grandma's loving arms, Holly (Mitch), Chelsey, Alex (Jessica) , Jenn, Justin (Corrie), Erika (Kieran).  Great Grandmother of Mya, Titan, Max, Skyler, Wyatt, and Aliyah.  June will be missed by her nieces and nephews.  Cherished friends Lynn and Glen Hoover and all the residents of 1 Peebles Street, you will be in our family's hearts forever.  Mom was so very proud and loved being a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion at Branch 154 in Caledonia. Her laughter will always be remembered.   She held her Family and Friends close and was loved by all. Visitation will take place in the Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia, on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 6 - 8p.m. followed by the service in the chapel on Friday, December 18 at 11a.m. Interment in Mount Hamilton Cemetery. All COVID restrictions will be enforced and face coverings are mandatory.
