We were saddened to hear of Margaret's passing. We have fond memories of Margaret going back to the late sixties - before we were classmates at Emmanuel College. Margaret was a dedicated minister with a zeal for intentional interim ministry. She blessed not only the congregations she served but the wider church as well. Our lives were enriched though knowing her. Our deepest sympathy to Barry and the family.

I have known Margaret for some time, but had the privilege of working as a team with her for the Region recently. I was impressed with Margaret’s great knowledge of “church” and her no nonsense approach to solving problems. She will be greatly missed in the church, but more-so as a wife, mother and grandmother. I feel blessed to have shared part of my journey with her. Blessings to Barry and the family.

I knew Margaret in "name" for many years through United Church connections, however it was last fall that I got to meet and know her as she was one of the new members of the UCC Manual Committee (which I chair). Over the course of a few days, we shared meals together, transportation back and forth to our meetings and during our meeting time. I came to know her as a woman of deep wisdom, passion and commitment to her God and her church.
May deep peace and love enfold you as you grieve, honour and celebrate her life and the legacy of that life.
